Roberto Medina
National Coordinator, Colombia FCA

Roberto met James Oilar in 2011 in the City of Barranquilla while both were serving as translators with a medical missions group. Roberto already had a passion for God and for sports ministry, he just didn’t know how to do it. He started out as a volunteer and has quickly risen to second in command serving as Coordinator for all ministry in Colombia. When he isn’t traveling to other cities to grow the ministry, Roberto focuses on the southern area of Bogota.

Gustavo Rivero

Before Gustavo officially came on staff with FCA in July 2016, he organized two baseball camps with nearly 1,000 players. An attorney by trade and former President of Criollitos Baseball for Guárico, VZ, Gustavo now serves as our Guárico FCA Director and lives in Valle de La Pascua. In the first year of ministry in Guárico, Gustavo and the Guárico FCA Team reached over 200 coaches, 3,600 athletes and 4,500 family members.

Dario Ortega

Dario comes to FCA as a seasoned veteran. Dario has served as a Chaplain for Baseball Chaplain having discipled current major leaguers like Jose Altuve and Robinson Chirinos. He also serves as a Pastor at the University of Carabobo all while Pastoring a local church. Needless to say, he has his hands full but the vision and mission of FCA was the missing piece in order to reach coaches and athletes in Valencia, VZ where he serves as our University Director for Valencia FCA.

Rozmer Gonzalez
Greater Caracas FCA Director

As a former business owner Rozmer initially felt that his skills would best translate by serving and starting a local Caracas FCA Leadership Board to help support the ministry financially. However, he eventually felt the call of God to leave his work and now serves as our Full-Time Greater Caracas FCA Director and National Coordinator. In two short years God has given Rozmer and the Greater Caracas FCA Team favor and access to serve the most elite professional athletes in Venezuela.

Eli Samuel Hernandez

Fresh out of Seminary and recently married, Eli started out as a volunteer FCA Chaplain in Caracas, VZ while he was searching for full-time pastoral positions. As a former professional soccer player “Eli” already had a passion for sports and loved the vision and mission of FCA. It just seemed like a natural fit that. Eli now serves as our Community Ministry Director in Barquisimeto, VZ.
